The Property...
La Basse Rouërie is a traditional Breton farmhouse and Longere that dates back 600 years in parts. It has two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.
It is situated on the Brittany, Normandy border in France so you can explore both areas.
A perfect place for all the family to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.
The English owners Sandy & Barrie have converted the Longere into 4 cottages leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams.
The cottages have been restored to provide modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse. All the cottages are named after the fruit trees in the gardens; Apple Tree is one of these cottages.
Although La Basse Rouerie is in a quiet location it is only a few minutes from Mellé which has a bar-tabac-restaurant-store and only 5 mins to Louvigne du Desert with its shops and restaurants.
