The apartment Kestrel is one of only two apartments in the Villa Theoxenia which is situated above Georgioupolis and has stunning views of the white mountains.

Kestrel our two bedroom apartment has one twin bedroom and one double, both have en suite bathrooms, a living/dining leads into a fully equiped kitchen area. The kitchen has a full cooker, fridge, microwave and is more like a home than a bare bones holiday apartment. Beding and towels are included for the apartment but not beach towels. Theoxenia also has  English drains so toilet paper can be flushed. The swimming pool is in an elevated position overlooking olive groves with the mountains beyond. The pool is 10 met by 4.5 met fully tiled with paved area around surrounded by flowers and a shady pergola, chairs tables, sun loungers and a BBQ makes this an ideal location.
The location is only six mins drive to the nearest town Goergioupolis originally a fishing village which has grown over the years but still retains its small relaxed atmosphere. There are some good tavernas and quality gift shops also supermarkets. We are halfway between the two larger towns of Rethmino and Chania with plenty of night life and shops.

We think we have the best of both worlds here at Theoxenia, if you do not wish to have a beach day or go exploring you can simply laze around the pool with a good book and soak up the magnificant scenery. Maybe stroll down to one of the local tavernas .. or prepare your own meal, barbeque or takeaway and enjoy by the glow of the underwater pool lighting.

We provide a welcome pack, just a few things to get you started in case of late arrival. We have a no smoking policy inside the apartment but there is plenty of outside space where we have no objection to this. We would advise car hire as it is an uphill walk all the way from Geogioupolis.
