Stone House with River Beach - Portugal

The house has two floors. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, 2 with a double bed and one with two single beds and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor there is a large living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchenette.
Access to floors is via a wooden staircase.

Regarding the location of the house, it is in a small village, Janeiro de Cima, a village belonging to the municipality of Fundão, located in central Portugal.
Along the banks of the beautiful and winding river Zêzere, and inserted in the Schist Villages project that aims to protect, restore and distribute this National Heritage.

The surrounding countryside is a mixture of pine and scented eucalyptus forests, which cover the hills and mountains in a carpet of green. Attractive villages and towns enable visitors to relax and experience rural Portuguese life and the local cuisine. There are also plenty of opportunities to exercise, by either walking or cycling along the numerous cross country tracks, or by enjoying a swim from the Praia fluvial (river beaches) in Summer.
